SSRC was well supported at the annual IOW Sports Awards at Medina Theatre on Thursday 4th April. In the Intermediate Girls Category Daisy Faithfull was a worthy winner following her
two gold medals for England last summer. Her trophy was accepted on her behalf by sister Emily as Daisy was still away at Bath University. Age limits meant that unfortunately both
Ethan Walters & Riley Horrix and Daisy & Emily Faithfull were competing against each other
in the Intermediate team category but ultimately this award was taken by Ryde Rowing Club's
Junior Mens Squad. Finally Garry was nominated for the Club Official award and was the winner
in this category, recognising all the hours and work he puts in at the Club.
