Easter 2019 not only saw fantastic weather, but a record number of rowers to take part in
the annual camp staged at Shanklin and Newport.
Participants enjoyed fitness work outs at TJs in Lake, ergo sessions and stretching, breakfasts at SSRC, then perfect conditions at Newport RC. There was a range of participants, some who had never been in a boat before, others who were improving their technique and a complete range of ages. Saturday finished with a visit from Jules ice cream van which was much appreciated, and then everyone was on the go again on Sunday from 7 am. The army of helpers from both clubs was much appreciated by all participants, and thanks go to all those who helped in any way, plus all the organisation for the weekend by Lesley and Garry.
